Sanction Application
- An AMA Sanction that is submitted less than 14 days before the event will result in a $50 convenience fee. An AMA Sanction may not be granted if received less than seven days in advance of the event. Applications must be submitted at least 90 days in advance to be listed in AMA’s monthly schedule of sanctioned events.
- All post-event paperwork (electronic participant list, injury report if applicable, releases) must be sent to the AMA within 14 days following the event.
- Use of the AMA-endorsed insurance program for event liability insurance is required. Important: Public/Spectator and participant legal liability insurance is required before sanction will be valid.
- AMA membership is required for all participants.
- Minimum equipment equal to requirements for competition per the AMA Racing Rulebook.
- Track Days Only:
  - Classes must be appropriately structured according to rider skill, bike class and age
  - Sufficient flaggers
  - Ambulance capable of legally transporting must be on-site OR have an approved emergency action plan in place
- Schools Only:
  - Curriculum outline must be submitted with sanction to be approved, including medical plan. The medical requirements are to be approved by the discipline manager, with a minimum of one EMT-Basic on site.
  - Promoter/instructor must be a USMCA Certified Coach
  - Proof of individual’s coach’s insurance must be provided with sanction application.
